Studio is the design-led arm of PRIMEHIDE Leather, a British leather house trading since 2001. Two generations, one rule: make the kind of leather people keep.
From the workshop floor.
Studio by PRIMEHIDE comes out of 25 years of family work in leather. My father built PRIMEHIDE from a small family business into a leather house supplying across the UK and overseas. I grew up around the workshops, the trade fairs and the warehouses.
I learnt one rule early. The best things feel right in your hand. They last. They do their job without shouting.
Later, working in the City, I watched company after company get gifting wrong. Impersonal, overbranded, disposable. None of it reflected the brand that sent it.
So I started Studio to fix that. We are the leather arm brands hire when they want leather in their world, whether that is a gifting run for clients or a product line they put their own name on. We design and sample in our own London workshop, and we run volume with the same family workshops PRIMEHIDE has made with since 2001. Anyone can rent a factory for one order. Almost nobody can say they have used the same one for 25 years.
We price honestly. No paying twice for something that cracks by spring.
Every decision comes back to one question. Is this worth keeping? When the answer is yes, you have handed someone something they will still be using in ten years, with your name on it.

Most suppliers are designers without a factory, or a reseller who has never set foot in a tannery. We know hide, construction and the makers, so what we put your brand on is specified and quality-checked by people who actually understand leather.
That means honest lead times, the right full-grain hide chosen for the job, and the capacity to go from one sample to a full programme without ever changing supplier.
